monday, busy monday
It was a quiet weekend. Friday I finished another Prey book by Sandford (Mortal Prey). Duty on Saturday was busy in the morning, then I had watch in the afternoon, and Sina & the troupe brought me dinner in the evening.
Sunday was spent at home. The kids were a bit whiny & quarrelsome. At a few points during the day Sina & both talked about wishing we were 23 again w/ no kids, and how that made us guilty to feel that way. We DO love all our kids, but sometimes it would be SO nice to spend a week without any parental responsibilities or worries. I finished Secret Prey about midnight. I think I'm just about out of John Sandford's Lucas Davenport novels. =(
Guess I'll switch to Jeffrey Deaver for awhile.
I worked out this morning for a half hour for command PT. We did the deck of cards thing (Spades=Squats, Clubs=Crunches, Diamonds=Push-ups, Hearts=Jumping Jacks) until we hit 7-7-2 twice. The last seven came with only 2 other cards left...
This week we're in the trainers & have alot of production work to track & support. It looks to be very hectic, but hopefully I'll be home by 5 or so every night (barring duty).
