This weekend is a camping trip to Virginia, and I figured I would be prepared this time. I'm sure I'll be spending plenty of time in the sun with a beer in hand, and so I decided to work up a base tan at the tanning salon so I would not get burned. I tend to burn easily until either the first big burn of the year, or I have accumulated a base tan. Problem: I still burned with the tanning bed, but mostly in places that normally dont get sun - me bum, me tummy, me chest... Ouch. I hope it fades away soon, but right now it is very pink and sore and itchy.
Life has been coasting for a few weeks, which is fine by me. No drama, no worries, no obstacles. Life will catch up with me soon enough, but I will enjoy this reprieve for as long as I can.
