Going hiking tomorrow with the Atlanta Outdoor Club. It'll be a 7 mile hike, so that'll be enough for me for a day. Dogs are invited on the trip, so Bailey will be coming along. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. I had a lot of fun the last time I went hiking with the AOC.
We just found out about our bonuses for this year. My bonus is based 30% on completion of personal goals, 20% on completion of departmental goals, and 50% on completion of corporate goals. I didn't think we would get anything for our corporate goals, since the company didn't make any of them, but apparently someone went to the committee in charge of that stuff and they decided to give us 70% of our corporate goals since most of why we couldn't complete our goals had to do with stuff that has happened that no one can predict. So anyway, we got dinged a little on our departmental goals, but I did all my personal goals and figured out that I'll be getting a $4600 bonus! Hells yeah! Of course, about 40% will be going to taxes, but that's ok. Really. That's ok. I'll take whatever I can get.
