the rest of the night went like this: sister and sisters boyfriend renting tekken 4. sister, sisters boyfriend, and i playing tekken 4 for 2 and a half hours. haha it was incredible, its a fun game and i think im going to buy virtua fighter 4 because its only $20 and its supposed to be better than tekken 4. after that i got some interesting text messages from a beautiful, young woman in distress, but then she called and we talked for about a half hour or so. i was really happy talking to her but she kept saying she missed me a lot and i started to get sad. ps. earlier in the day at starbucks, the ryan in business clothes downtown was terrifying/amazing. i wish i wasn't so suddenly busy!....

so today was a rainy, humid day and playground was as much fun as one could imagine 50 children in an unairconditioned gym would be. thankfully ana had brought the pre-mean girls, lindsay lohan smash hit, freaky friday. it was pretty good, as good as i figured it would be and ana and i had some solid laughing/bonding time down in the library. this afternoon, sister got a job teaching, which is really really mind boggling. she is essentially still a young adult, she just makes something like $30,000 a year now. its strange but exciting, so now we are going out to dinner at PF Changs to celebrate and sister's boyfriend is staying an extra night....

i didn't get to go to the john kerry rally in philadelphia because of the gigantic thunderstorm that rolled into jersey today. i am disappointed but at the same time, its ok because i get to go celebrate with the family now. i watched some of the clinton speech today and gom has been raving about it since last night. i would have liked to see kerry before his big, huge run after getting the nomination, but you can't stop the weather. oh well. in the mean time, i have been cooking up a deal over the internet to sell some of my old beanie babies for a potentially large sum of money. i have some fairly rare ones, they just don't have tags, so i will see how the deal turns out in the next few days, hopefully well. hopefully well enough to consider purchasing a g4 ipod and giving my old one to my sister. now that's being spoiled....

"i bet he's saying something like 'women are nothing!' in chinese"....
