a lot has happened, or has it?...

the last post was about ten days ago. when i sat down to write this, i thought that i must have been very busy in the last ten days to not have even thought of posting, let alone getting around to doing it. and then i thought, what did i do for the last ten days? i cant really come up with an answer. i barely remember last weekend. last weekend i went to sister's graduation. the whole trip was kind of a drag. there was nothing to do really, and it was rainy. i did go to a local high school prom however, which was very interesting. i also watched the new version of the texas chainsaw massacre. it was pretty much a waste of time, but there was something about the images in it because they are still vivid in my mind, even when i barely think about it. it was more messed up than it was actually scary. graduation was hot and sunny and uncomfortable because of the nice clothes i had to wear. by the time i got back on sunday around 10:30 i was drained and in a bad mood. i wasnt even excited for the physics trip on monday, which was at great adventure. the day started out pretty poorly. it was cold and rainy, and none of the rides were working. it was like a ghost town. by midday when my group of the "brahs" had left, it was getting better. i got very quality wife time in the afternoon however, neither of us became sick of the other, which is a good thing i think. i couldnt complain about the trip in general, even though it was a very dreary day, there were no lines whatsoever for any of the rides so you could more or less just ride whatever you wanted to, when you wanted to. the next day, yesterday, was another field trip. this time is was a looooong bus ride to new york city to see a real spanish play called la gringa. it was ok. as it turned out, we were los gringos in the theatre and im sure, were the butt of many of the other native speaking students who were there. it was good, just extremely hard to understand. the bus ride home was fun with the people in the back but we all got so tired that eventually we were all sitting with our heads down, close to sleeping. i was a wreck after we got home. after running some errands with the wife, i went home and collapsed in bed. i was very very disoriented when i got up but then i had mexican for dinner and then had to work on a spanish video project with sarwa and tmac. what a fun group. we finished after some solid laughs and then i set to work editing and finishing it. its always a pain, a really really big pain to do editing with the program i have but im so used to repeated failures before actual success occurs. i want a mac more and more every time i do it. i decided there are a lot of things i need to save up for before i go away to school and none are cheap. i guess thats it, im bored tonight....
