There's always a first time...

For the first time in...well EVER, I've been seeing articles praising the fans at Fenway. Because they booed a player.

Yes. The Fenway Faithful are being praised because they booed--HARSHLY--a player of the opposing team. In fact, EVERYONE was praying there would be booing. Why is that, do you ask?

Because the player in question, Philidelphia Phillies pitcher Brett Myers, decided it would be a good idea to smack his wife in front of a bunch of eyewitnesses on Boylston Street, THAT''S why.

The fact that he was allowed to pitch, after what he did, on national television (the game was on FOX, so I could actually watch it, a rarity in my house), just eats at me. Hopefully, his wife will get out of the relationship, and take their kid with her.

Good for the Sox AND Phillie fans who let him have it. I hope he gets trashed wherever he goes.
