Baby shower was today. It was great!

Now I need a nap... I'm eating all the leftover Hawaiian bread! yum!

Ive never had a baby shower

chris' mom got all these presents for me from her friends
then handed me a huge stack of thank you note to fill out

I made her do it
Im an ungrateful bitch or something

it just got on my nerves
I didnt know any of the people
and most of the stuff was nonsense like baby wipe warmers

Thank you cards are a real pain... at least I've gotten some practice now.
We got a lot of nice things. No wipe warmers... got lots of meds... diapers... tons of burp cloths... clothes, bibs, bath stuff, a tub, a booster seat, car seat, brushes etc, toys, and we even got some lullaby cds. I'm ready for her now!

His mom shuld have thrown the party for you! ugh that is kind of nice that they got gifts, but why not go the extra mile and give you the party too...

I had a baby shower in a different state with women I didn't know for Reuben... it was a lot of charity, but I was glad for it!
