Hockey Season looming!!
I never thought I'd find myself saying it, but EA's finally waking up when it comes to Hockey. NHL 07 for the 360 may not be the perfect hockey game (no drop passes, no 3 Stars announcements, no board pinning as far as I can tell), but the new skill stick system, coupled with the shootout presentation and the overall feel of the game is just so damn fun! And no boost, who would've thought that would actually be a good thing?
I also picked up NHL 2k7, because that was the game I originally wanted. I'm loving the new Cinemotion camera, and as always the game is very, very solid. If you've played any of the 2k Hockey games, you know they rarely falter in terms of what Hockey is, but I guess because very little's been changed, it's just not as awe inspiring to me as the EA Game.
So, 2K7 will be for using the Rangers on the Online Leagues, and NHL 07 will be for another Sharks Dynasty. Both games will get some play time.
