Baby update
Yup, she's my daughter alright, the cussed little bugger.
Had scan today. Baby is breech. She never WAS engaged - she's been arse downward all this time.
She's presenting feet and bum at the same time. In the midwife's words, 'she's in the lotus position in there.'

She's also quite a big baby - seven pounds 12 ounces apparently. Yipe.
Anyway the upshot is that Lucy wants an elective caesarian (as opposed to the sixteen-point-turn they can try to do, which they thought would be iffy given her position and size) so she's going in on Sunday and they'll do the caesarian on Monday.
Yes, that would be New Year's Eve.
It's a funny old life, this, but I wouldn't miss it for the world.
