It has been far too long since I have had more than one party to attend in a single weekend, and being as out of practice as I am today has turned into a potter around the house and nap kind of day.

And now, behind a cut
I have a dish I threw together on weekend about 6 months ago, and it is missing something.
Don't get me wrong, it is delcicious... but I just know that is needs something else to blow it into the stratosphere.
I have tried making changes... and each time is an improvement... but please add suggestions!
Todays version:
Slice and fry onions and mushrooms
Add salt
While that's going on half some capsicums (I always seem to have red ones in the house when I try this) and put them in the grill skin side up.
add cornflour to milk and add to the mushrooms, add pepper and paprika.
Take the half capsicums out of the oven, turn them over, spoon the mushrooms into the "cup" side of the capsicums and add cheese and put back under the grill until cheese is melted.
Yeah... thats about it. Any suggestions?

a_thaliana made me gluten free cupcakes today and they are almost as wonderful as she is.
