Yeah I don't like "helping people" with voting anyway. This is actually the only election I've ever voiced an opinion on who I was voting for (I usually like to keep it private). I don't know for sure that your ward is even having elections (because only the odd-numbered wards are). As far as candidate information, I get my information a little bit from election propaganda, I have talked to a lot of business owner's about regulations being put into place, there have been a few candidate forums that I was able to make, and even a bit of personal experience/character judgment of the parties in question. What I hate though is this shame of democracy. We have elections, and for every election we have a voter's handbook, which has a paragraph or less about the individual's we are voting for, which is written by the candidate, and could be lies just as easily as truth. So we are voting based solely on these paragraphs quite often, and what isn't based on those is based on whose name you saw in front of houses or who you know that's voting for who and it's lame because the majority of the time, the elections (even local elections like these) are on too big of a scale to be able to make any kind of tangible or true decision.
