[ooc: Elle got stupidly, horribly drunk because LOL FREE BOOZE and various other reasons like loneliness and homesickness and Adam gave her a taste for it, but mostly blame
this post. Her drunken argument with Libby is also where a lot of this stuff is coming from, so it's not TOTALLY random.]
(
It's so long D: Specifically aimed at Peter, Adam, Kirk, Jack Harkness, Tony, and Sylar, but it's all public )

Now I just have a pounding headache and everything looks slightly out of focus. And I think I might hurl.

Want to come nurse you back to health?

... I meant... some of that stuff. I think. But not all of it. I was really drunk. Don't be mad.

Or like one apparently. He wish he knew what that meant. It's probably something from before he arrived at the Company that he wouldn't understand anyway. He knows that Adam and Elle are fiends. That's not at all what he has a problem with. If you asked him, Adam needed people to care about to get it through his thick head that killing off humanity is a really bad idea.
Peter lets himself into her room with the key she gave him, talking quietly because she said she had a headache.]
"Feeling any better?"
Reply
"Sort of. Not really."
[She forces herself to sit up, trying not to move too quickly in case everything starts spinning the way it had earlier.]

[Peter's already crossed the room to get to the bed, taking her by the shoulders and gently pushing on them, instinctively taking care of her because that's the easiest thing to do. No fighting, no worrying about this mutiny business.]
"Come on, I'll lie with you and we can talk really quietly."

[Elle lets him push her down, settling back against the pillow. She's not sure how much she wants to have one of their talks right now, but she'd rather get it over with, especially if he's really mad. Maybe the hangover would somehow make the talk easier. The awful headache might distract her or something.]

He settles in next to her, propping himself up on one elbow to get a good look at her, his other arm resting on her stomach.]
"So you want to keep Adam in a basket, huh? I don't think he's going to like that."
Reply
"That was my solution to you not wanting to leave him behind. I think."
[Most of last night is pretty fuzzy, and looking back on some of the things she'd written, they make absolutely no sense now. Well, they sort of do, in a really abstract way, but she's still not sure about what half the things she said to Libby mean.]
"I don't think he'd like it either."

[Peter rolls his eyes a little because he's pretty sure that Adam will complain about something, no matter where he is or if he has everything that he claims he wants. There'll still be something to whine about.]
"So what parts did you mean?"
Reply
"The part about you being a hero?"
[She says it tentatively, as a question, and rests one hand on the arm on her stomach while raising the other hand to touch his chin. She tries to spark him, but the only electricity she can generate in this condition seems to be a pathetic little fizzle. So she tries giving him a tiny encouraging smile instead.]

"That's it? You don't really want to move in to my room?"
Reply
"Yeah, I meant that part too."
[She should just tell him. He'll find out if he bothers to read Sexby's post anyway.]
"I hit on some guy last night. But only," [she adds hurriedly,] "because I was really drunk. And I was a little mad that I might've been able to leave and didn't."
[She doesn't remember exactly what happened with Sexby, but she knows it wasn't anything inappropriate - not even by Peter's standards.]
"And nothing happened. He just came over and... we didn't even really hang out. I think he just, like, lectured me. And if it makes you feel better, I think I told Libby you were like a racecar and had pretty insides, or something. I was really drunk, but I'm almost positive those were supposed to be compliments."
[She watches him wide-eyed, hoping he won't be mad at her.]
