Yeah, I used to write about Zoë with the regularity you wrote about Rosie, but I've only seen her once this year. She was a daily fixture in my old diary, definitely. Couldn't have done school without her.
I might see Kayleigh in the future, but there's really no point convening with the rest - we had nothing in common. It'll just be tight little smiles and waves whenever I see them again.
She's doing art foundation, I think. Or maybe whatever comes after that. Definitely an art course anyway.
I might be going to Portstewart next week but the weather suggests otherwise. What kind of July IS this? I don't feel particularly impelled to return to Sheffield yet but the housemates are moving in today - hopefully it wasn't some essential rite-of-passage for me to be there. It sounds as though my proposed room's being traded as well, booooo. Guess it's my fault for not going along.
I think you should address fully-grown people that way. Else they'll never learn. Most students need the direction.
There's still hope for the sunbathing, maybe. You know how each day goes now, five minutes raining, five minutes sun, five minutes raining, five minutes sun again. As long as you're prepared to do a lot of moving about you can probably soak up a decent amount of warmth. AND I'm going to a seaside town, so we better.
