Snowboarding was had today, and it was sooooo very nice! Piles of awesome light, dry powder, no lift lines and correspondingly few people. ( Tell me more... )

Today I bought a few things for my winter gear collection. Some new very thin liner socks to keep my toes from cramping in my snowboard boots (they are very snug), some water proofing spray for my jacket shell, a new pair of silk thermal underpants (my old pair was getting thread worn and runny), and the biggest purchase, a new set of snowboard ( Read more... )

Headed to Shasta Ski Park on either Saturday or Sunday, not sure which. They got over another foot of fresh snow in the past day - it is just piling up!! :D If anyone else is planning on going or wants to go on either of those days, let me know and maybe we can synchronize. :)

Shasta Mountain has obtained over FIVE FEET of fresh snow in the past three days!! :D I expect I'll be trying to get up there tomorrow. :)

My legs feel good... and used. Yesterday I attended the Saturday karate class and had a good workout and today I just got back from snowboarding at Shasta.
