Weekend activities (Swordfighting!) and such
I did a day trip to Half Moon Bay (500 miles round trip) today for a Western Circle of Swordfighters combat event. It was a good day, mostly, and I performed adequately, though not exceptionally. I managed to come away with only a few bruises and no fractured or otherwise seriously maligned fingers, so my typing is unaffected.
Typically I make events a weekend affair, but I didn't arrange things with my grandmother ahead of time and I don't like calling on th eve of need, so I opted for the day trip approach instead. Now I'm not sure what I'll do with myself tomorrow. Probably relax and play computer games, maybe some disc golf or go for a walk. :)
