The challenge is to start somewhere - anywhere - take a picture (or three), then take 100 steps and take another. Lather, rinse, repeat, and you should have an interesting view of your town. 100 steps isn't very many, really, so it should force you to be all artistic about everyday objects. Or something. I am aware that the originators of the challenge would, perhaps, have liked me to submit my adventure to their scrutiny. However, having read that they are looking for "some good ones" to start it off, now is not the moment and this is not the photo series. It was fun though, so I'm sharing :)
I started at the cemetary on Cemetary Road, and took steps in the direction of Walmgate Stray, although my batteries - perhaps fortunately - ran out before I got there, cutting short my escapade.
Turns out it's quite a long cemetary.
And that Fulford Road isn't that interesting.
But this is the only place I really couldn't get anything even remotely worth looking at, so I include this only for completeness.
Everyday hedge.
Everday pole. (I was, by this stage, on my 4th picture on an exclusively residential street and desperately trying not to succumb to the temptation to invade people's privacy.)
Everyday puddle. At this point the battery died, so there isn't really an alternative.
