So I'm in York. Again. I think we (may perhaps) have plans for this weekend, but I would love to see you York bods next week, any old time, just let me know. During the day preferably. Lunch or whatever.

The drive up from the lovely Robin Hood airport reminded me that, actually, I do rather like power stations, so I bring you this:

I asked my man once and he says they're that shape because it's the strongest and most efficient shape for that kind of cooling tower. I, personally, haven't the foggiest, but I'll believe him because he knows mroea bout steam stuff than anyone else I know.
