(no subject)
so, work is getting better. Mondays are supposedly the busiest days on the farm, so i guess i just got a bad first impression.
o.O we found a bat in the barn today (barn #9, like any of you know/care the difference). poor thing's wing was broken. :( I'm not sure what we ended up doing with it, but we were gonna tape up the box he was in and give it to our boss (it was his birthday). Ended up not-- seeing as with all the Darley take-over stuff going on they've been pretty strict lately... :( wouldv'e been funny as hell though.
my right foot's all bruised and swollen now :( we were moving a bunch of mares from our barn to another one, and my mare was doing fine until we had to walk past the teaser stallion... yeah. long story short, got my foot stepped on. I seem to be good at that.
