PSA re: abouttwoboys and its apparent spin-off
Some of you might remember the community abouttwoboys from last winter, a J2 and SPN romantic comedy fic challenge, which I co-modded with setissma.
We hadn't spoken about the community any time in the past nine months or so, so imagine my surprise when I came home to see that:
1) I had been removed as a maintainer of the community;
2) I had subsequently been re-added as a maintainer of the community;
3) setissma had made this post to abouttwoboys, which I will quote in part below:
Hey all! After a lot of consideration and some general discussion, I've decided that I'm going to rerun About Two Boys again this year. For a variety of reasons, including the fact that I'll be moderating alone and some drastic changes to the rules, I decided that the best course of action was simply to create a new community for this year's challenge. So, without further ado:
abouttwoboys2 is live!
So okay. I don't know who setissma did any of this discussing with, but it certainly wasn't with me. That whole bit about moderating it alone? She decided that on her own. I was not asked about any of this. I spent a pretty darned big amount of time modding abouttwoboys last year, and the fact that this all went down without me having any say in the matter -- well. I'm really not okay with it.
