Um. I might have been extremely bored at my internship earlier. That is my excuse for all of this. But anyway, dazzling_onyx is just getting into SPN, and I told her I'd give her some recs, SO:
Okay, obviously this is all my personal opinion, but I think all of these fics are AWESOME, and if you have not read them yet you should totally get on that.

Life As We Know It (aka the curtainfic) by sevenfists
Sam/Dean | R | 13,600 words
Our boys buy curtains and fall in love.
I would actually recommend pretty much every single fic sevenfists has ever written (and in fact, if you have any interest in angsty fic in which Dean turns into a woman, Flood of Water is completely awesome), but Life As We Know It is fantastic. I just got so happy thinking about it again.
Moths on the Mirror by fleshflutter
Dean/OMC and Sam/Dean | NC-17 | 18,978 words | extremely dubious consent but not between Sam and Dean
There's something wrong in Red Haven Hospital for the Criminally Insane, but no one's going to listen to a psychopath like Dean Winchester.
fleshflutter warns for a lot of stuff, and it's all THERE, but even if you're not into the sort of things she warns for, you should still read the fics, because they are so good that it does not matter. And dude, NO ONE IN FANDOM writes horror as well as she does. And one more, in that same vein:

A cult is rumored to be guarding the Fountain of Youth. Oh, and while investigating it, Sam and Dean get roped into getting married. Yep.

Featuring dancing, denial, a lot of inappropriate work behavior, and an infamous office holiday party.
And for Jared/Jensen, I would recommend everything belyste has ever written. (Her SPN is also awesome, but really don't miss out on her J2.) I love this fic so.

True facts: Whenever I look at the summary for this fic, I get it briefly confused with another of Ash's fics, Aurora Rising (Jensen and Jared have been together for four years when Jensen comes to terms with a deep-seated secret.), which is HILARIOUS, because a cage to catch our dreams is all about how Jensen has a beard and Jared likes to tug it and then they fall in love, and Aurora Rising is SO UTTERLY NOT. Aurora Rising is definitely not for everyone -- it fucked with my mind HARD for days afterwards -- but I'd still totally rec it. If a cage to catch our dreams is not everyone's cup of tea, though, I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DRINKING. Ash writes L.A. like no one else I know. Go read the rest of her fic, too; it's awesome.
