Oh Mascara!
aaaaaaaahhh!!!!
I have mascara stuck on my eyelashes that wont come off!!!
So you see, I have this "Lash Stash" from Sephora that's a box of 10 sample size mascaras. I've been trying them out one by one and this morning I decided to open a new one from the box and try it on.
On the back of the box is some text about each mascara but I neglected to read the back and just chose a random mascara.
Well, turns out the one I picked is called "Tarte - 4 Day Stay Lash Stain" and it will. not. come. off!!!
I tried scrubbing it with water based eye make-up remover and the cotton came back completely clean. Not even a little bit of the mascara came off!! And it didn't even ruin the lashes, they stay completely dry and curled up. I don't have any oil-based remover but I've heard that one might work.
I even took a shower and scrubbed the lashes and came out of the shower like I'd just put on mascara!
*snort*
This is freaking me out. Especially since I wasn't even paying it much attention when I put the mascara on this morning. I would have done a better job of it had I know that it was going to be staying on like that for 4 days!
It will be interesting to see what it will look like in the morning. I don't know how I'll be able to sleep tonight because I never ever go to bed with any make-up on. I think it's gross and so uncomfortable. It's going to bother me a lot, I just know it.
Seriously, this is what my lashes looked like after I'd gotten out of the shower earlier today, and after having scrubbed all of my make-up off with eye make-up remover, only the mascara still staying on like I hadn't even touched it!
