I am sitting here listening to a long play list of NOFX and it's bringing back a nostalgia of the hype and humor my friends and I shared back home. The nostalgia goes even as far back to the remaining days everyone hung out at hugh's house. I think the fast paced drumming
makes me think back to when gibby used to hit up punk drum rolls on the bass pedal of hugh's shitty drum set. NOFX followed by Propaghandi's tunes reminds me of jess who just glows in universal raw humor. For all of you who know jess, there's that certain distinct charisma he carries. The way he immediately laughs at everything silly brought up yet beyond his constant hyper body movements, all of his friends know he is a solid individual with an untouchable style of wit. With that said, I found these old posts in jess's lj that are examples of what I was describing. The first one was on november 4th 2004, election day =( and you know how we all felt totally disgusted (equivilant to witnessing a death or a mass destructive attack) about that outcome. I took Jess to the voting booths that day and they wouldn't let him in with his Bush is a WMD shirt Laff. So here is jess's post on election day, it shows frustration and immediate satire from the upset loss. Coming from Jess it's hilarious if you read it hearing jess's voice in real life.

hi my name is john the fucking right winged ass hole . i dont like niggers poor people fags or open mindedness im so happy my fag ass president won so we can take over the whole world and have nothing to show for it except a few rich people . yes i recognize my culture is crap and do not care at all , my culture is victory and destroying anyone that dosent comply . man i wish these asshole liberals would stop telling me what to think , i cant think at all with terist about to pour antrax in my slushie . every time kerry talked during the debate i made shure to tell my wife she had no rights and worship jesus while i watched football jacked my dick and ate a #2 from mc donalds . i put a dumb ribbon on my car to support the people that i could have suported by electing a president that would take them out of iraq or sending them a heartfelt letter or something they actualy need . all these lefties need to see what kind of saftey we already have and would like to keep .

today i saw sky capt.(badass) and resident evil 2(silly but good). i ate so much goddamn popcorn i thought that i was gona pop myself . i think that i think watching tons of movies on sunday is the best idea ever . so whoever wants to go next week hola at ya boy ."
Jess called last week and I told him I had pho for the first time. He said let's open up a viet resteraunt named "Charlie's" followed by his jess kirkland laugh and I ROFLED 46 times.
So if you really know Jess, hopefully you were able to see all the humor in this, matrix code style. Gibby you know how we roll.
I'm usually always stranded in this apartment in this new life I have here that lacks unreplacable friends. So finding joys like remembering these qualities makes me sad and lightened up at the same time. I spend 95% of my aim time catching up with gibby everyday, literally. I'm still hanging in there though, I'm completely broke but am still surviving. This past week I probably ate the least amount of food ever in my life. Pickles for lunch and peanut butter on a spoon to satisfy meat cravings..or even peanut butter on remaining wafer icecream cones for dinner. I do have some cool news. The documentary that I helped BulletProof Films out with is finished. My name should be with theirs on IMDB and also eric (the lead and only visual artist) told me Mojo Nixon laughed at my animation sequence that I did on his interview. They presented the final film at ComiCon in San Diego this past thursday. The documentary is on Todd Loren and his Revolutionary Rock N Roll comics era. The documentary implies that he was pretty much murdered for freedom of speech and the 1st ammendment. The guys at bullet proof are great people and probably the closest thing to home that I'll find. But I don't know, the humor that I share with my boys jess and gibby are untouchable and irreplaceable.
I miss having friends that know everyone's personalities like seeing the matrix code or being one with the jedi force.
