Things have been pretty quiet up here. Its been a bit colder the last few days - barely getting above freezing during the day - but the days are getting longer and spring is definitely coming!
I'm starting to think about getting a digital piano. When I was a wee-lad, I played the piano up till about grade 11, but then had to give it up due to school. But now I have a hankering to try to get back to it. While I doubt I will purchase one for many months as I have other priorities for my disposable cash (new kitchen table!!), this weekend I started looking around on the internet to get some idea of current price ranges and functionality. One sticking point for me is that I really want a hammer-action keyboard - I can't stand "spring keys" or a keyboard that doesn't give one the kind of touch sensitivity typical of real pianos. While the
Kawai CE200 looks interesting, I'm still trying to locate other brands with similar features to eventually try out. I do own a Roland XP-50 Keyboard, but it sits in a box in my closet, as I get too frustrated with the "springy" feel of this keyboard.
Diet - Week 9
Over the past two weeks I increase the number of times I worked out, and also followed the suggested diet plan religiously. Needless to say, I haven't dropped any weight. Tis a bit frustrating frankly. So, April 7 I've booked a session with the trainer/nutritional consultant to have a chat. This week I'm keeping a food journal of everything I'm eating, my workouts, etc. On April 7 I'll likely do a body-comp analysis again to see what progress I have made because while my pants are all fitting rather losely, and there is certainly less fat around my mid-section, the scale still says the same. Argh!!!
All I know.
