Second surgery on wrist is complete!

So, as a refresher: my right wrist was causing me very terrible pain for about four years. We went to so many doctors, and finally ended up with one who figured out it was a cartilage tear due to my ulna outgrowing the raduis. I had surgery to repair the cartilage and shorten my ulna. Woohoo! Glad everything is running smoothly so far! Hope you're back to 100%, or very near it, soon! I frankly can't imagine studying in college without being able to write. Respect to you for pulling through that. :)

I am totally off of pain meds now. Just gotta wait a week before I can take the wrapping stuff off, and then I'll just be careful for a while longer while it heals :)

Now I've just gotta work on my sleep schedule..... :x That got messed up.

I wouldn't have made it through the semester if my teachers hadn't been so awesome about it <3 They really helped me out, despite how difficult the disability office was being.

Oh, that sounds rough. It's way too easy to accidentally bump or hit a sensitive spot during healing.

Ugh, sleep schedules are the worst. I wish we could be like the elves in LotR and skip sleep for the most part. :)

Yay for awesome teachers! Good to hear they take their responsibility to foster success seriously.:)
