Life with cats

So last night, as I was trying to get to sleep, the following little drama played out:

B2: ::mew, mew:: (I want attention!)

H: Alright cat, what do you want?

B2: (B1 is under covers, I want to sleep under the covers too!)

H: Alright, here, get under the covers.

B2: ::squirm, wriggle, squirm, settle::

B2: (Ahh! I'm under the covers! I'm trapped! Must escape!) ::flail, flail, squirm, flail::

H: "All right, all right, I'll let you out! Here, see, out."

B2: (Out! Out! Must get out!) ::pause, pant, pant:: (Um, I want under the covers.)

H: "In your dreams cat. Good night."
