[House Stuff] In other news
Today the electricians came and upgraded the electrical panel. No longer do we have multiple circuits wired to the same breaker (a code violation) and we have room for lots of new circuits. They next ran a 2" conduit to the laundry room so that it would be easy to snake wire to a useful location (the breaker panel is in the front of the garage, about as far from a useful location as it could possibly be) and then made use of that conduit to install an outlet for our electric dryer. They also moved the control knob for the library ceiling fan to a place that will not be in the way of the bookcases.
In addition, this morning we got our fridge. A nice side-by-side with water and ice through the door.
And ahf installed our new touch-screen thermostat, so the place should be a bit easier to keep at a "proper" temperature.
Slowly but surely it's getting done and becoming "home".
