Living in the future is neat.
So I've just (via Google Maps and Streetview) previewed my walk from the Den Haag Central train station to my hotel (which, coincidentally, will take me right past the Den Haag office where I'll be working at almost exactly the half-way point). About one quarter the distance is walking along side a small canal, most of it is along tree-lined streets (yes, the street by the canal has trees), another quarter of the trip (the last part, after I leave the canal) is actually through a park.
All told, the walk should take about 25 minutes.
And I know what my hotel looks like, which will be very important by that point.
And the commute for those two weeks won't suck either, it should be less than 15 minutes.
