Looking for old version of ReaderWare
So I need a favor and I'm hoping that someone on friends list is enough of a software pack rat to have what I need, a copy of ReaderWare from the late 2.9x days.
It was appear that, as I try to transition to ReaderWare 3 that my books database from the 2.9x version has become corrupt and cannot be opened. And for some reason, they decided that 3.x does not need to know how to open 2.x backup files. Therefore, I need a copy of 2.9x to use to restore the backup to and create a working version of the database, which can then be upgraded to 3.x.
And of course, when my file server died last fall, the 2.x installers were among the files lost.
