Who likes applesauce?
Cuz I got offered a job this morning. Dr Pepper Snapple Group in Williamson, NY is also the country-wide supplier of Mott's applesauce. They make all the applesauce for the entire country...and Canada too.
I was there for about a half hour, chatting it up with the HR director and a manager, telling them about what I do at Budweiser. The manager left the room beaming, shook my hand and said, "Well, you definitely passed my test with flying colors!" He was just about floored to hear the sort of jargon I was familiar with. He got excited when I told him about where we use a Torx wrench. After he left, the HR director turned to me and was like "Well, Chris wants to hire you, and I think that's a great idea! Here's some information about the company..."
So yeah, I'm super pysched. Its good money, and good benefits. I'll be working a 12 hour overnight shift, the rotating schedule that gets me every other 3 day weekend off. Yay jorb!
