Bored during commercial break of "House"

Vicky and Jess are off to London/Nottingham today! I'm gonna miss them. :( Paul and I headed over to Vicky's to say goodbye and then came back to my house to make some pizza and watch some NCIS. I'm liking this whole casual arrangement. I know by all senses of the word we are in a relationship, and logically I know that. But at least the paranoid part of my brain isn't going, "zomg. Relationship! Trapped!"

Admittedly, the paranoid part is also the stupid part. Besides, the hell what anyone else thinks about it. Paul and I are okay with it, I'm not looking for anyone else, neither is he, and our relationship is actually drastically improving. I don't mind making it official (which really just entails of just telling people he's my boyfriend) when things are all dandy peachy, but really...I don't feel the need to cater to everyone else's need to categorize my life.

Erm. Wow, rant much? That was pretty unintentional.

Anyway. I'm sure people have noticed I've been more present on my friends' list--mainly because I no longer have an excuse not to. I can check it on my phone and now I kind of wish I was important so I could be like Michael Cutter from Law and Order and have my Blackberry beep importantly whenever an e-mail comes in.

(Except, really, my phone would play "The Entertainer.")

I've been reading Bernard Cornwell's The Winter King...and even though I've heard some criticism from some diehard Arthurian mythology addicts about the lack of, well, mythology, it's not a book about mythology. It's about historically playing around with the myth which, really, I think is brilliant. I haven't finished it yet, but I'm optimistic. :)

Also? I need to make money. Somehow. Stripping? :P

ETA: For those of you and prepared and geared for the move from Livejournal in the event of mass exodus...where are you all moving to?

broke!, paul, law and order, books
