What I want in season 8 of Supernatural
Human!Cas becomes the new homebound research go to guy and moves in with Jody. (poor boy gets lost in his research and needs someone to parent him) Ghost!Bobby hangs around as well, Cas can interact with him but Jody sadly can't.
The boys end up in Purgatory, be it at the end of this season and work their way home or for an episode or two in season 8. They get help from those like Madison and Lenore. They have fights with Gordon and other nasties they've killed, maybe the Ghouls from season 4 still look like Adam and his mom. (but eventually Gordon has a moment of redemption and helps them escape?).
I want NEPHILIM for Chuck's sake. I want Gabriel's half breed children being badass, dangerous, snarky and unpredictable but ultimately good.
I want an all out WAR between beings. Shifters vs Skinwalkers, Vampires vs Changlings, Rakshasas vs Ghouls, Amazonians vs Valkyies(please), Ghosts vs Reapers, Tricksters vs Tricksters, Pagans vs Pagans vs Angels vs Demons vs Nephilim. Alliances long kept broken and new ones forged. A shifting of how things are run for everyone.
Death to be bound and hidden by the BIG BAD. Somehow people are able to die but its really slow/painful and no one can move on to the afterlife. Some Reapers (like Tessa and Bobby's) respond by getting Pagans/Angels to resurrect certain people (John, Mary, Jo, Ellen, Rufus, Samuel Colt, other famous Hunters throughout history) to help track/find Death but someone is controlling older ghosts and sending them after the Reapers. Enter Bobby to help them out. Big Bad also makes Karen, Jess and other people important to the good guys into malicious ghosts to make things had on them.
I want resurrected John and Mary to have issues with each other, with the boys and with the world as it is now. I want fights and make ups and family fighting together.
The 4 Archangels being needed to break Death's binding and the need to resurrect two and uncage the others, then controlling them once that happens. Adam being brought along for the ride and the boys actually dealing with their entire messed up family for mulitple eps in a row.
Kali, Isis, Athena, Sigyn, Frigga and other goddesses being awesome and actually helping to fix shit. People from past season who learned about the Winchester's life coming back and helping in the war. Amelia and Claire being kinda awesome, along with Kristy and her dad, Jesse showing up with fewer powers, now being in mere Trickster range but wants to help as well. (Ben showing up and admitting he remembers/never forgot and if the fandom wouldn't kill her, Lisa does as well but she just wants to be friends with Dean). The boys angsting over letting kids be in the line of fire but the kids refusing to stay at home and hide when there's a war on and every body counts and they can help. Creatures/Pagans/Angels/Demons learning to get along with the humans and respect them and vice-verse.
I want few filler episodes and I want to keep the emotional hits coming. But I want everyone to find their true strength and come together. Meg and Crowley going head to head for control of Hell and the boys having to choose a side. (But let both live and they give the other control of Limbo or one of the Pagans offers Crowley a job, like Hel offers to let him run her domain). Afterlives other than Heaven/Hell/Purgatory being mentioned. And certain Pagan gods being able to go head to head with a regular Angel on a good day and with the right preparation an ArchAngel.
There's more stuff I want but I'm tired so I'll add them later.
