When I started shipping them: The first time I saw them together. I can't even remember what episode I saw first anymore. I think it was a Nine episode but I'm not sure. What I think their challenge is: He's a 900ish Time Lord who can live a very long time and has deep seated emotional issues and she's a young human who has a comparatively short life span. What makes me happy about them: They compliment each other and make the other feel better about themselves. What makes me sad about them: That part of the Doctor will always lose out on Rose. In canon the full TimeLord version leaves her with the part Human version. And if she had stayed he would have had to watch her wither and die. Only in fanfic could the Time Lord get a true happy ending with her. What moment I wish had never happened: Rose falling into the void in season 2. Then she'd be there for all of seasons 3 and 4. But maybe still having the Metacrisis happen and them all agreeing for her to go with him to the AltVerse....that could have been interesting. Who I'd be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: Rose ends up with some form of the Doctor. (unless we're discussing fic then Peter Carlisle and Claude Raines are good) The Doctor on the other hand.....I'd need to think on that. My happily ever after for them: 10.5 is really 14 ala shinyopals and others and whatever jessalrynn has planned. Or just getting a glimpse of Rose and her Doctor in Pete's verse being happy and awesome.

I've gone on record as being Rose/Doctor shipper. But I don't like 10.2, it's just too easy. I wish they had gone with my idea instead.
As the "Doomsday" track played for the upteenth time, my muse popped up with the following observation. "Rose is working for airship world's Torchwood, maybe even running it like Capt. Jack. But for the world to have a Torchwood, they have to have a Doctor to inspire its creation. But it wouldn't be our Doctor, the one Rose fell in love with, and wouldn't have had a relationship with her because Rose didn't exist on that world. Oh the possibilities!" I'm actually surprised they didn't use it, especially how they jumped in my head for "the Wasp and the Unicorn."
