My email to the local radio station today got commended as being worthy of Private Eye :-)
It was in the context of the new dog in the White House:
I guess Obama had to settle for a real dog after trying to follow the
example of his predecessor who had Tony Blair as his poodle. He no doubt
discovered after meeting him that Gordon Brown isn't properly
housetrained and leaves a mess wherever he goes.
