I really hope no one asks me what's new with me for the next little while, I really don't like answering that question because it's normally depressing to me. The past little while has been pretty crazy for me, and it's probably only going to get worse. The week before last I was sick for 5 days with the flu. This meant that I had a fever for 4 days, was in bed for 4 1/2 and missed three days of classes, two shifts at work, and 5 days of working on school projects. So I just spent the last week trying to get caught up. Wednesday night I had 1/2 hour of sleep and about 3 hours the next night. I'm almost caught up. I vow never again to miss that much school time, it's not worth it. I'm going to drag my butt to school no matter what, at least I say that now....
So I'm also a little bummed because I was coming home to surprise the family for Easter weekend, but that has proved impossible due to my exam schedule. Blair is driving to Halifax for that long weekend, but I have an exam monday morning so that won't happen for me. I just checked flights for this summer and it's definately cheaper to fly than to rent a car and drive, though I would enjoy the thrill of the drive much more. Brian and I are coming the week before Lesley's wedding and staying for about 2 weeks. I also checked flights for the weekend of father's day just out of curiousity and they're at about $350 right now, so I might make that. I might ask my sister to help me out cause I really am missing my family and would like to get home sooner than August. Unless she decides that she's coming to visit me after all.
Things are also about to get alot more busy with me as Onika's wedding is in about 6 weeks. I'm her maid of honour and have to plan a shower in about a month, and do lots of other things on top of school ending and final projects becoming due. Although, I must admit that I do thrive on stress and deadlines and all that chaos. So I'm loving it.
Although right now I'm procrastinating on studying for my Spanish test that's tomorrow morning....
