Happy New Year to Everyone!!
i can't believe that it is already 2006. this year has gone by quickly...that is in retrospeect. there were times that everything moves so slowly that it felt like it would never end. well now that it's the new year, i am really looking forward to having a clean slate and just starting this year off right. i mean my new year has been pretty good so far. I'm in tahoe til tomorrow, i got to drive in snow (though mainly light snow and ice, not real powder), i spent time with great people that i haven't seen in a while and got to spend time with a french guy studying abroad in SF and has to go back to Paris tuesday, watched movies and stayed warm in doors and dancing with cassandra, and ending the night by driving to truckee to pick up a bar hopping friend. we all had fun and i got up around 11:30 today. i'm disappointed with that though cause scott had to wake me up so i could say goodbye to the group that left today. i wish i could have spent more time with them before they left. oh well. anyway, while scott, chan and joanna went off to ski, i took a walk out in the snow. it was snowing and there was freash powder everywhere. it was one of the most beautiful scenes i have ever seen. the snowy trees and the snow flakes gliding to the ground was an amazing way to start off my 2006. i just hope that my year is just as beautiful. i figure since my new year has started out enjoying company, watching south park, helping out a friend, sleeping in next to someone i adore, a healthy breakfast while re-reading a great boook, and a serene walk in the snow, i think 2006 will be a great year.*
*please help me keep this mentality throughout the year, i know that i'll need help along the way.
