Originally uploaded by caturah_winterhart Despite a wee bout of random-mystery-illness this morning (thanks again vuirneen), I managed to make a good start on the corset this morning. This one is going to involve quite a bit of hand sewn detailing, so I need to be strict with my timelines.
The pieces shown are one of the front pieces, with channels sewn for cording at the bust, one of the back pieces, with lacing bone channels sewn, and at the back, the kitty-cotton lining. Given that it was just for the lining, I decided not to pattern match the cotton. The pendant in me now is thinking maybe I should have...
