The next project
Originally uploaded by caturah_winterhart The next wedding invite of the year has made itself known, and so the next project is to begin. I mean, I could wear the dress I made in January, but it's been seen twice now! So something new is called for.
So it seems as good a time as any to bring out the next project. This one is a late 19th century corset. The red-purple silk will be forming the fashion layer, with the kitty-print the lining. I expect, though it's not definite yet, that I'll be using black flossing. It seems to go best with that colour, but I'll see how it looks in a bigger piece, once it's a little more made up.
