A read in inside cover (as others probably did) that Whitfords shopping centre made a bit of a faux pas by advertising the first appearance of their Santa at 11am on Sunday 11 November.  Oops.  Apparently a typo and it was meant to be 11.30am.  All well and good except we happened to be driving past the centre on Sunday and saw the following flashing sign. It scrolled:
"SUN 11 NOV LEST WE FORGET.....ALL DAY TRADING TODAY!!!"
Who says grammar isn't important? Or maybe they weren't that sorry about Santa turning up at 11am after all...:)
