Stitchwitches block
Final Stitchwitches block for this round. Material supplied was from Moda's Fandango range. Brief was very open but she wanted only pieced items, no applique. Nasturtium flowers came to mind for her apparently...
I was a tad sleep deprived when doing the block and made a bit of a dog's breakfast with the cutting unfortunately - I am usually a bit more careful and end up with more leftovers. However, the cutting wasn't so bad that I stuffed the design - prizes for guessing where I had to adapt things a little. :)
Still, I'm generally happy with the result - I am sure this pattern could be a Jinny Beyer but strangely I found it under a design entitled "tea rose", which I fiddled with a bit.
