More insomnia. I feel like I get one good nights sleep and then three or four bad. It's such a never ending cycle.

In brighter news...minus 16 school days until the end of year!

Also FCAT scores are back next week. Fun.

I have had insomnia, on and off, since middle school. So I've tried a lot of home remedies over the past couple of years. A pretty good one is Valerian herb pills. They smell really bad but they do a pretty good job of getting one sleepy. They sell them at most pharmacies in the herbal/vitamin section.

I've also tried several teas. Sleepy time by Celestial Seasonings doesn't do it for me. But it helps some. If you buy some oranges and them make a tea/infusion from the peel, that helps.

If your restlessness is coupled with pain (I have a lot of back pain which is what keeps me from sleeping half the time) you can also always try Tylenol PM or Night Time.
