So I haven't read the books and pretty much decided to give the show a chance based solely on the fact that Ian is in it and I am still missing him on my tv and while I would prefer he return to Lost for the whole of the last season, I realize this is impossible and will take him on a CW show if that's what I can get. And really as you said, it wasn't all that bad. I don't hate the female lead which can be rare on the CW and there is chemistry amongst all the actors. As Meg mentioned it could be cheesier but it still might be. Plus it's Kevin Williamson and while I stopped watching Dawson's Creek eventually it definitely had its highs.
I also have to say that I was less bored with this than the SPN premiere. I realize this probably makes me crazy but I am pretty sure I'm over SPN and am really only watching to see how they end this whole apocalypse thing and because my whole flist is obsessed. Okay, okay and because I like getting my weekly dose of Jared and quality music.
Speaking of music, I have to say that the best part of 90210 is probably the music, while it's not all good, it's introduced me to a few bands when it's not playing all the mainstream crap. They need more programming on Tuesdays so that I can quit this show, why is everything on Monday and Thursday???
And this turned into a long tangential comment, whoops.
