BEST OF '08
Books
So I'm not going to pretend I read more than 20 books, tops, this year. My goal was 50, but I always figured I'd end up at about 25, maybe. That was a generous estimate. Of the few books I did get through this year, these were my favorites:
I'm a Gaiman whore, obvs. As much as I liked The God Delusion, it really wasn't as good as I'd thought it would be.
Movies
I did see a kazillion movies this year, though most of them weren't first run theater movies. Here are my top flick picks of '08:
You may notice the glaring absence of The Dark Knight. That's because I haven't seen it yet. I am so behind the times.
Television
I didn't really pick up many new shows this year.
Not new but I still enjoyed them for the first time in 2008: The IT Crowd Series Three; Lost Season 4; Supernatural Season 4; Pushing Daisies Season 2 *weeps*; Wives and Daughters mini-series; Northanger Abbey mini-series, Sense & Sensibility mini-series, & Persuasion mini-series.
Music What I liked best of the music released in 2008. I couldn't really list everything here, but these had a lot of rotation on my player.
