south korea
i'm in korea. i got here yesterday after a very long flight. our original flight path was to go through north korea, but that progressively changed so that we ended up going as far away as we could before landing in incheon. we had to fill out a health certificate and get our temperature taken as soon as we got off the plane... luckily i was normal sans the sinus infection. at least, i think it's a sinus infection... it's progressed from something else. my head didn't explode on the plane either, which was good.
i fell asleep early last night.. then woke up at 230 am, then slept more until about nine. today we walked around anjung-ri and then went to pyeongtaek to walk around and go to the market. lots of dead things laying around and interesting smells. currently soup is being made and i have a headache. we're going to e-mart later... hopefully i'll find some of the presents i've promised. or some post cards. oh, i bought cute new shooz.
the language barrier is intense. i pretty much have no idea of what's going on.
