Here is my semi-exciting post. On thursday, when i was getting home from work, Bekah called me and asked me to help her and Micah bale hay because Kaleb wasn't around to help. I was tired but I went anyway. It didn't start out all that bad but it quickly escalated. When we reached the end of one waterway there wasn't enough room to turn around so we were going to back out but the tires started spinning. We kept trying but to no avail. Finally micah and I pushed while bekah drove the truck. We made it a little way but then we were really stuck. As we were trying to figure out a way to get out, I noticed a light coming from under the truck (which was weird because it was already dark outside). When I checked it out, I discovered a fire being fed by oil shooting out from a cracked pipe. I kind of started to freak out because here we were watching an oil fire burning underneath a pickup that had several dry hay bales in the bed and another forty or so on the trailer. We had a little water but it didn't do much to put out the fire. Then Rich (being the crazy old guy that he is) reched under the truck and put the fire out with his bare hand. We then managed to get the trailer unhitched and the truck unstuck and Rich decided to drive the pickup (with no oil) back to his place. He made it but it was a little freaky. Then after all was said and done and I got home, I realized that I left my gloves in the cab of the pickup. A great ending to a great night.
