HA!

I figured I'd update since I've been putting it off. I love to write but I am just so bad at it! First, just let me say how excited I am to meet all of you that can come out to Austin, and I'm seriously bummed about the ones who can't make it. I have a few things to tell you about so I'll start with the best. RENT!!

I've become obsessed just over the past few days. I can't believe I slept on this for so long. It's one of the best things I've ever seen. I bought the movie last night at Target and can't wait to watch it again. I really can't wait to see it in NYC again. I'm kinda mad I missed the tour here in Philly last month, although I've heard varying things about it.

Ok, we made great time up to New York on Saturday. We left about 10am and were through the Lincoln Tunnel by 11:30. For anyone who has ever been on the New Jersey Turnpike, that is pretty good time. We found a great place to park and headed up to the Broadway building on 51st street to collect our dinner vouchers. While there, we picked up the flyer for A Chorus Line. That is coming October 5. Great birthday present! ACL is one of my favorite plays ever and I can't wait to see it on Broadway. I've wanted to see it since 1992!

We stopped off for lunch at Cosi, which was really good. They have them all over Philly but I've never eaten there before. Then we strolled down Broadway (7th Ave.) towards the theater. It was on 41st street. We walked through Times Square and stopped in Sephora to try on some make-up. By the time we were finished, it was time for the show to start. We went to the will call window to claim our tickets and then sat in out seats.

The show was absolutely awesome. Amazing. I can't even describe it. I loved every minute of it. I was completely spoiled, I had no idea of anything about to happen. The actors were all fantastic, especially Mimi (Karmine Alers), Angel (Justin something),
Mark (Matt Caplan) and Collins (Destan Owens). I really loved Roger's (Tim Hower) singing, but he looked terrible. All in all, I loved it all. But the best part was the Season's of Love soloist, which was FRENCHIE! She was absolutely amazing. Best part of the show. Her voice is so powerful. I would like to see her understudy Joanne.

I made it home by 8:30 to get ready for the White Party, thrown by Donovan McNabb, quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles. There were some other players there, including the love of my life, Brian Westbrook. I didn't talk to him, though, cause my friends are mean. He looked ok. I still love him. Farnsworth Bentley and Vinny (from Naughty by Nature) were also in attendance. It was fun, but different than I expected. Kristen threw up in my car!

Other than that, nothing interesting is going on. I'm still completely single and lonely. I still talk to Chuckie, but nothing is happening between us. I've resigned myself to the fact that we will never be more than friends. Although we crossed the line, somehow it was drawn back in and I will never go there with him again. I guess I'm meant to be single since no one seems to ever think I'm girlfriend material. But that is a story for another day.

Love you all. Hit me up!
