so i'm inspired by adam's post to resurrect this livejournal. i have doubts about the general motivation for the public publication (as opposed to private?) of a personal journal, but i'll do it anyway. it's not like anyone really cares to read this.
the real reason i'm writing today is to tout my glorious victory over apple this morning. fed up with problems with my logic board on my ibook, i called and bitched out a poor woman working the phone in austin, texas. my reward? a brand new ibook -- which, since i was still unsatisfied, got upgraded to a 12 inch powerbook. so i got a brand spanking new powerbook for the price of $300 (the cost of the upgrade), which is oh-so-sweet. my old ibook was getting decrepit and slow anyway, so i'm considering this a christmas gift to myself.
so aside from that, my work at the united way is coming to a close. when that ends i will spend my days doing web design and going to the gym. i'm starting a new effort to get in shape, which means working out for two hours a day and eating six meals a day to boost my metabolism. the grand goal is to get in shape and get a girlfriend come my return to princeton, which means that once i've landed the girlfriend, i can return to my sloth ways.
so now that i've updated, it's up to everyone else to re-establish this online relationship we have. i'm looking at you sanjay, sarah, zac, and dylan.
