Michael Jackson at Dwight's Place

I was watching Entertainment Tonight this evening and a quick clip of a video of Michael Jackson singing a song with his three nephews, a music group called 3T caught my eye. Even though I only saw a few seconds, I immediately knew that the video was filmed at the Ennis House, the Frank Lloyd Wright house in Los Angeles where Murder, Obliquely was filmed.

As you may recall, I adored this short film and of course adored Alan as Dwight Billings. I do think that the elegant home and the architecture were just like a character in this piece, and you may recall I made a number of posts at the time, obsessing over it a bit.

This video is very interesting as you get to see quite a bit of the familiar areas of the house. If you will watch it all the way through, you will see the long hallways, the stained glass windows, and even the marble floor near the bedroom where Laura Dern's pearls shatter and roll in front of Dwight. I'm surprised the pool was functional and in such good condition, as I had understood this house to be in disrepair.

A fun walk down memory lane.... and actually a very lovely song, with Michael Jackson looking well and happy.

You can also watch a really nice high res version here (I couldn't embed it), from Michael Jackson's official Youtube Channel.
