I like Sociology but Sociology majors are annoying

So now I'm thinking maybe I don't want a sociology minor. For anyone who doesn't know, I'm taking Sociology of Aging and it's one of my favorite classes this semester. The only drawbacks thus far have been a few people talking really loud at inappropriate moments (like when there's a lecture going on or when another student is trying to talk) and

Everytime I raise my hand for a question..everyone looks at me like I'm still in HighSchool.

Most of my classes if someone has a question they just ask, but I'm guessing this is less appropriate if the class size is >30.

I think it's appropriate to raise your hand to ask a question. Show respect to your teacher, there's a reason they are up front and the rest of us are called "students."

don't give up on your minor just b/c a few annoying ppl won't shut the hell up-- that happens everywhere {of course, most of the classes I'm taking are psych and I think these fields tend to draw out the kinds of ppl who like to do that sort of thing and think they know everything there is to know about people.}
