everything is fine.
yarn came out -- to my surprise, it wasn't 6" -- it was more like A FOOT. Or longer.
Scary.
But I'm glad he's okay. I was really worried and sick to my stomach about the issue. :/
I put him back on high quality canned for awhile, because I was concerned about him not getting enough fiber and/or being constipated since his small poo episode.
my boyfriend, who had sort of been indifferent about me feeding raw before -- is now a sudden convert after he told me Tonka poo'd the other night and it STUNK up the entire house. I told him I had stopped the raw and was feeding him canned. he said "WELL CAN YOU PUT HIM BACK ON IT????!"

my mom says she's going to stop by with a bag of giblets for him, too. including a chicken neck (YAY)
part of me wants a kitten to raise, to raise 100% on raw -- but I'm not sure I can afford it now (would run me about $300), and I'm not sure how Tonka would accept another cat (would it be mean??), and ... I'm not sure my boyfriend would be okay with two cats. he loves Tonka, but I think one cat is enough for him. our apartment is kind of small, too.
