Aww. You have such a hand with Rose and Ten's voices. I can hear them saying every word of this and even more, the emotions are just perfect. Thanks for this!
I've been writing them a long time now. And I really don't want to forget her, or what they had, although I think Martha's got a lot going for her, too. There was so much memory and longing in his expression, that little moment on the bed in TSC.
Awwww... so sweet. And the britannia coconutters! I had to google up some pictures, of course. And I've now added that to my list of things I must see before I die.
They are quite remarkable, aren't they? Apparently Morris (as in dancing) is in fact a corruption of the word Moorish. You can get videos of the Nutters on YouTube if you don't live near Bacup.
I really, really liked this. Could hear Ten and Rose so clearly, and it pulled at my heart, while still making me smile for him at the end. A soft, poignant smile, to be sure, like the one he was wearing, but I loved him making an effort to see the good things he still had, admitting that he could still have fun, even it wouldn't be with the same level of joy as he'd had before.
So wonderful, as are all your stories. I just love the way you write them. :)

I love that Martha trumped the Doctor's Glaswegian medical degree. :-) (Is the creme egg a reference to that David Tennant interview?)

I enjoyed this. I hope you continue to write some Doctor/Rose, even if you move on to the Martha period.
